Personal Bio – PCW Chastity Educator
What a privilege it is to share the truth of human sexuality and authentic love with the youth of Cincinnati! I feel incredibly blessed to be a Chastity Educator at Pregnancy Center West.
My journey to PCW has been an exciting one – one that I never could have planned for myself! I was born and raised in Maryland, and attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC for both college and graduate school. By May of 2014, I had earned my bachelor’s degree in English Literature and my master’s degree in Business Analysis. With a heart on fire for Christ and His Church, I then moved out to Cincinnati, OH to work with Matthew Kelly at The Dynamic Catholic Institute.
After two fantastic years at Dynamic Catholic, a good friend of mine asked if I’d be interested in the Chastity Educator role at PCW. My friend knew I had a great love for the youth of today and a great passion for this type of ministry work! Faced with such a big decision, I came to our Lord in prayer and asked Him “what do You want me to do?”. He quickly made it clear that Pregnancy Center West was where He wanted me…so I said yes!
I am so excited to get to know the students we will be teaching, our clients here at the center, and the West Side community. To get us started, I’ll share some fun facts about myself: I am a lover of dogs and iced coffee, St. Maria Goretti is not only my Confirmation saint but also one of my heroes, I am the middle child of five and aunt of two, and I firmly believe that as Christians we have a responsibility to laugh a lot and awkwardly befriend everyone.
