Today, Monday, January 13, 2020, news has gone public that The Farm is being auctioned off by the IRS for the payment of back taxes. One online story indicates that Dan Elsaesser, owner of The Farm, is hoping to make some arrangement to remain in business. In another online story, Dan states that The Farm will continue operations through this process and he intends to be in business for many years to come. These are the facts as we know them.
Pregnancy Center West has held its Annual Spring Luncheon at The Farm for many decades and has a wonderful working relationship with the Elsaesser family. But now there is uncertainty about the status of the venue for this year's event, to be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
In light of the uncertainty, today we have put a 'place-holder' with an alternate west-side venue to ensure that we have a location for our Spring Luncheon, which is an important source of funding in support of PCW's mission to save the unborn. For more than 35 years, dedicated supporters have enjoyed a wonderful Spring Luncheon event, with the wonderful food, games, can raffle, prizes and great fun! That will continue to happen.
We ask that you pray for Dan, Donna, the Elsaesser family, The Farm employees and all those affected by this difficult situation.
We also encourage you to continue to send in your Spring Luncheon reservation forms or secure your reservations online. However things turn out, PCW will be having our Spring Luncheon on Saturday, March 14th, and we hope you'll join us!
